Perafita is a municipality in the comarca of Osona in Catalonia, Spain. It includes a small exclave to the south-east.
The name "Perafita-" comes from the Latin "Petra-ficta" etymologically means "rock-bound" stone is placed in an area to indicate the boundaries of land or property.
